A version full of left hand effects to get most of the melody but with no drop tumbs.
3) Add the drop thumbs
A full version with the left hand effects plus the many drop thumbs that can add some extra-notes.
Practice two ways of dropping the thumb
On this longer video, I’ll explain how to play a “drop thumb” : playing melody notes with the thumb, on the upbeat. I’ll show you two ways to use the drop thumb on the beat, related to the tune “Old Aunt Jenny”.
